To add an extra dose of suspense to this week’s elimination, Dancing with the Stars bosses implemented a Dance Duel between the two lowest scoring contestants. The duel required the bottom two couples to perform a cha cha side by side. Judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli would then decide which couple to send packing based on their performance in the duel.
Final scores combined with viewer’s votes put Gavin DeGraw and Jaleel White in the bottom two. After the dance duel, judges announced DeGraw and his partner Karina Smirnoff were eliminated.
"It's amazing just being part of the show. Knowing Karina Smirnoff, of course, having a great mentor. And getting to reach out and know all these amazing people who are a part of this show,” the singer said after his elimination.
In addition to White, the remaining contestants include William Levy, Gladys Knight, Maria Menounos, Donald Driver, Roshon Fegan, Melissa Gilbert and Katherine Jenkins.
