Duane Morris Partner Terrance J. Evans Named to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity's 2012 Fellows Program

Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce that partner Terrance J. Evans in the firm's San Francisco office has been selected for the 2012 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), a national organization made up of the legal profession's top general counsels and managing partners. Evans joins a class of 134 attorneys from around the United States who have been selected as LCLD Fellows for 2012.

"We are extremely proud that Terrance has been chosen for this great honor and are pleased to see his hard work and dedication to the law recognized and rewarded," said John J. Soroko, Chairman of Duane Morris.

"Both of these classes represent some of the most outstanding talent in the legal profession," said Rick Palmore, LCLD Chair and General Counsel of General Mills. "They have been selected by the managing partners and general counsel of the law firms and corporate legal departments that they serve, so it is a particular honor."

"These talented individuals, already recognized within their own organizations, have had an unparalleled year of professional development," said Robert Grey, LCLD executive director. "The program is unique in the nation, focusing on increasing the success factors for the participants and the roles they play in our member organizations. In addition, the Fellows Program creates valuable peer-networking relationships for this select group of lawyers."

Evans, an attorney in San Francisco, focuses his practice on representing the financial services industry, including international, national and community banks; loan service companies; and insurance companies. Among his accomplishments, Evans was named one of the top 100 minority associates in the United States in 2007 by the Stakeholder Organization and has received special honors from the NAACP; the Congressional Black Caucus; the 100 Black Men of Los Angeles; the Young Black Scholars Program; the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles; the American Legion; and many other organizations. Evans graduated from Cornell University where he made numerous appearances on the Dean's List, and Loyola Law School, where he graduated with recognition.
