The New York Mets fire Tony Bernazard

The New York Mets recently fired Vice President for Player Development Tony Bernazard.  This firing was caused by incidents of indecent behavior.  Tony Bernazard who is 52 years old allegedly removed his shirt and challenged several players to a fight.  This incident occurred prior to the All-Star break.  He was accused of going after infielder Jose Coronado.  He also accused players on the team of underage drinking.  This was all reported by the New York Daily News.

Omar Minaya who is the general manager stated in a press conference that human resources did an investigation on Bernazard, and after collecting all information he made the decision to fire him.  We hope this wont effect them for the next season.  We wish them luck.
