On Monday night Danny Ferry who is the general manager for the Cleveland Cavaliers said that he’s been talking with Lebron James agent about a contract extension. Lebron James who is the NBA MVP was rumored to have been offered a three year extension. He has the option for the 2010-11 season, and has the option until June 30, 2010, to extend the deal or pick up his option. There is a possibility that James could become a free agent next summer.
The offseason has been extremely busy for the Cleveland Cavaliers. They have been acquiring help by trading for Shaquille O’Neal and signing free agent Anthony Parker. This trio will give the Cavaliers a great shot at making the playoffs gain.
