Tractor-trailer overturns after collision with SUV

Ann Arbor, MI- A tractor-trailer overturns after it was struck by an SUV on Interstate 94, injuring four people.

The accident took place just before 11 a.m. Monday. Police said that a tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound in the left lane when a SUV in the right lane attempted to pass the truck. A box truck was entering the highway as the tractor-trailer and SUV approached the ramp.

The driver of the SUV traveled into the left lane crashing into the tractor-trailer, causing the driver to lose control. The tractor-trailer then slammed into a concrete median, crashed through it then overturned.

The Ann Arbor Fire Department had to extricate four people from their vehicles. The four accident victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.
