This week’s Dancing with the Stars elimination narrowed down the contenders for the mirror ball trophy to seven. Just like last week, the bottom two couples faced off in a dance duel in which judges Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman and Carrie Ann Inaba determined the winner and the loser. The loser was eliminated from the competition.
Fan votes put Roshon Fegan in the bottom two for the second week in a row. He was joined by Gladys Knight. The pair faced off in the dance duel, performing a jive side by side for the judges. The judges’ vote was split; Inaba wanted to save Knight while Tonioli and Goodman agreed the singer should be eliminated. Knight became the fifth contestant to go home.
"I am just so amazed at this journey. It's been absolutely extraordinary. I learned so many things ... I'm just overjoyed," Knight said after her elimination.
The stars remaining to compete next week are: Roshon Fegan, Donald Driver, Melissa Gilbert, Jaleel White, Katherine Jenkins, Maria Menounos and William Levy.
