Fiscal Third Quarter profit of Walt Disney Co. declines 26%, less steeply as compared to the previous few quarters; this is despite what executives called possible signs of improvement in the broader economy.

"We do see signs of economic stability," President and Chief Executive Robert Iger said in a conference call with analysts. "But the pace and strength of recovery remain uncertain."
