Katherine Heigl is now a mom of two! The former Grey’s Anatomy star has confirmed she adopted another baby girl with husband Josh Kelley.
“Yes they have adopted a baby. No further details [are available] at this time,” Heigl’s rep tells People magazine.
Heigl and Kelley adopted their first daughter, 3-year-old Naleigh, from South Korea in 2009. After the adoption Heigl revealed she had always wanted to adopt from South Korea because that is where her adopted sister is from.
“My sister Meg is Korean and my parents adopted her three years before I was born,” she said in an interview. “I wanted my own family to resemble the one I came from, so I always knew I wanted to adopt from Korea. We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first.”
Heigl can be seen next alongside Robert DeNiro and Amanda Seyfried in The Wedding.
In other celebrity baby news Jack Osbourne welcomed his first child with fiancee Lisa Stelly this week. Stelly gave birth to daughter Pearl on Tuesday. Pearl weighed in at 8 lbs., 6 oz.
