Google updates search, urging legal internet marketers to build quality websites

Google has been promising an algorithm update that would adversely affect overly optimized sites. And now they have announced the update has gone live and some websites will see their rankings drop if they use unsavory SEO techniques.

Google wants legal internet marketing experts to focus on building high-quality websites with superior content in an effort to enhance the user’s experience. The search updates target webspam, and sites that stuff too many keywords in content or use link schemes.

Google’s Matt Cutts earlier his month emphasized how important it is for a business or a legal internet marketing firm to build a visually appealing and easily navigated website instead of focusing on too much search engine optimization. He also stated that websites that are overly optimized could see their page’s rankings drop.

Keywords have always been an important component of online marketing, so businesses will have to be more conscientious of how they use keywords in their content.  Stuffing too many keywords in an article or blog will affect the overall ranking of a website.

For companies who have been providing quality content all along they may see their rankings rise.

For many companies, understanding and navigating the way in which Google ranks a page can be more complicated than they anticipated. These businesses may find that it is in their best interest to hire a legal internet marketing firm to develop and enact their online marketing campaigns.
