Three-car accident in California causes several injuries, including children

Three cars were involved in a traffic accident Thursday evening that caused injury to several children.

Police say that the driver of a muscle car, traveling at a high rate of speed ran a red light at the intersection of Lake Murray Boulevard and Navajo Road.

The muscle car hit an SUV driven by a woman, who had her six children in the car with her. The SUV then ran into a red sedan.

Traffic Sargent Art Doherty told 10News “He was driving at a pretty good rate. Thank God he didn’t strike, didn’t broadside the driver directly.” Doherty believes if this had happen the SUV passengers could have been killed or suffered serious injuries.

A woman, Andrea Jarvis, who lives near the intersection, said it was very dangerous and witnessed a recent accident where a driver’s car flipped over.

Several of the people involved in the accident were taken to the hospital, but none of their injuries were life-threatening.

Failing to stop at a red-light is a clearly negligent action on behalf of a driver and when a person is injured they can contact an accident attorney to hold the driver financially accountable for their careless actions.

Accident lawyers are concerned with making certain their clients get the attention they deserve. The time an accident attorney devotes to a case assures injury victims will receive the maximum amount of compensation they deserve.
