Up until this week the jury was made up of all guys, but with choices on who to eliminate next dwindling, the girls have finally turned on each other. The beginning of the end for the girls alliance started with the rewards challenge.
A Sprint phone received in tree mail informed the tribe that their reward would include family members. Each castaway is reunited with a loved one who will compete in the rewards challenge with them. The challenge requires each pair to be attached at the waist as they work their way through a tangled length of rope. The first pair to get through the tangled rope and make it to the finish line wins lunch at the beach.
Kat and her cousin Robbie make it through first. Kat then gets to choose two castaways and their loved ones to join her on the reward. She chooses Kim and Alicia.
Kat’s decision makes Sabrina and Chelsea angry. They both think Tarzan deserves to see his wife and Christina deserves to see her father because he recently got a kidney transplant. Back at camp they talk to Tarzan and Christina about voting Kat out this week. Christina seems to be on board with the plan, but Tarzan is hesitant and points out that Kat probably is not much of a threat because she is not a “thinking person.”
For the immunity challenge, each castaway had to stand on the edge of a platform while holding on to a rope behind their back. The rope is lowered in intervals, making it increasingly harder for the castaways to hold on. The last person standing wins immunity.
It doesn’t take long for Sabrina to drop. She is followed by Tarzan, Alicia and Chelsea. That leaves Kat and Kim to battle for immunity. Kat practically begs Kim to drop, but Kim refuses. Kat finally drops out. She then pouts about Kim’s win.
Kat’s behavior after losing to Kim has everyone annoyed. Although Kim wants Sabrina out first, Chelsea and Alicia insist that Kat should go. They get their wish; Kat is blindsided at tribal council and becomes the first girl to join the jury. Kat cries as her torch is snuffed.
