Drug Rehab Facility Gets a Facelift

Narconon Freedom Center undergoing facility upgrades to better assist clients.

When an individual is going into a drug treatment program, it is often a life-changing decision. The type of program, the level of care and the overall facility play a huge role in a positive outcome for permanent sobriety. This is one thing that Narconon Freedom Center feels is essential to overcoming a drug or alcohol addiction and is currently upgrading its already beautiful facility in Albion, Michigan.

The center is making upgrades to its course rooms, cafeteria, several common lounge areas, phone room, weight room, intake office, nursing area and several other spaces within the facility.

“We are starting our transformation and upgrades in the center for the clients really focusing on the "home" feeling to make their stay more comfortable for them,” says Megan Werner Brennan, a supervisor at Narconon Freedom Center.

The facility upgrades will conclude with a one-day event thrown over Red Ribbon Week, which is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October that will be observed at the center. Narconon Freedom Center will provide free food for the community and tours of the upgraded facility and the event date and time will be announced this month.

“We are going to be very busy for the next two months around here,” adds Brennan. “The center will continue to deliver services to clients while the facility undergoes upgrades. This will not cut across the standard delivery of our program.”

Narconon Freedom Center is a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that achieves a success rate of more than 70% for permanent sobriety for program graduates. The Narconon program has been in operation for more than 7 years in Michigan and has helped hundreds of drug addicts from the state and surrounding areas.
