Kylie Minogue pulls out of U2 show citing exhaustion
Pop icon Kylie Minogue had to cancel a planned appearance with U2 yesterday after her first two shows left her physically exhausted. Both Minogue and U2 are currently performing separate tours in Australia.
Minogue is currently making up shows form her “Showgirl Homecoming” tour that had been postponed last year after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent intensive chemotherapy and the cancer has been eradicated yet it has taken its toll on her energy.
Bono, U2’s frontman, appeared on stage and performed a duet with Minogue during her second show back as a sign of support.
Kylie wanted to return the favor but her 2 ½ hour shows have sapped her energy level and has reportedly been told to get rest
