Nick Lachey sings the blues after Vanessa Minnillo gives him the news

Reports are that Nick Lachey proposed to his girlfriend of nearly one year, Vanessa Minnillo, and the MTV VJ turned him down. 

Apparently the 26-year-old Minnillo may want to enjoy her rising fame rather than be smothered in a relationship with Lachey. If their birthday bash five days ago is any indication of were their relationship is heading Nick may have to look for a different Mrs. Lachey.

While he sat stone faced and obviously displeased with the surroundings at the TAO nightclub in Vegas, Vanessa seemed bent on having a good time.

Minnillo is scheduled to appear in the new “Fantastic Four” movie due out in 2007.
