Roger Federer has ace up his sleeve, beats Andy Roddick at the Tennis Masters Cup

It was a bit unbelievable but Roger Federer managed to overcome three match points and beat Andy Roddick at the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai, China on Tuesday. His 4-6, 7-6 (8), 6-4 victory was capped by three aces to complete his come-from-behind victory over his American rival.

It was the eighth consecutive match that Federer has taken against Roddick.

Roddick was dismayed but remained optimistic about his chances to snap the streak, “If I don't believe now, then I never will, I put myself in a position to win. I'm getting closer as opposed to further away, so that's a trend I hope to continue.”
