At least three earthquakes have been reported to have hit in the Gulf of California between Baja, California and Mexico.
The initial quake was said to be 5.8 magnitude and that was followed by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake just 76 miles from Santa Isabel. Shortly after the second earthquake a third was felt, a 6.0 magnitude.
The earthquakes were said to have been felt as far away as Phoenix, Arizona and San Diego, California as well as Tijuana, Mexico.
