Former Dexter star Julie Benz tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, marketing executive Rich Orosco, over the weekend. Benz’ rep confirms the Mexican themed wedding was held Saturday evening at the historic John Sowden house, also known as the Jaws House, in Los Angeles.
Orosco, 39, popped the question last June with a Kwiat cushion-cut diamond ring before surprising Benz with an engagement party at their home. "It was absolutely perfect," Benz, 40, previously told People magazine of the proposal. "The proposal was simple and beautiful – and then I was shocked by the pop-up surprise Mexican fiesta engagement party. What girl doesn't want to be serenaded by a Mariachi band surrounded by close friends and family?"
Benz, who has a recurring role on the CBS drama A Gifted Man, was previously married to actor John Kassir. She began dating Orosco in 2007.
