Robert Beckelman, a member of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP’s Real Estate Department, was a recipient of the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) Chairman’s Award in recognition of his contributions to the Association’s Redevelopment Committee during this past year. Mr. Beckelman received the award at the 63rd Annual Atlantic Builders Convention on March 27, 2012.
Mr. Beckelman represents New Jersey developers and property owners in land use, zoning, commercial and civil litigation matters. He also represents municipalities as special redevelopment counsel or litigation counsel. Mr. Beckelman, whose practice includes appearances before various boards, governing bodies and agencies, concentrates in redevelopment projects, eminent domain in New Jersey, affordable housing issues, related compliance, transactional work and contract negotiations. He is also experienced in environmental litigation and compliance, code enforcement issues, local government laws, procurements, and municipal court matters.
