Connecticut plastic surgeon says patients are highly satisfied with liposuction

A recent study that appeared in the April 2012 edition of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery showed that the overwhelming majority of patients, who have undergone liposuction, were very happy with their results. Dr. Ellen Mahony, a Connecticut plastic surgeon, says the study confirms what she has seen in her practice.

In a press release, Mahony said, “Most all of my patients are happy with the outcome of their liposuction procedures because they get very noticeable results without a lot of post-operative pain and recuperation time. The incisions are small, so people can usually be back to their normal activities in few days.”

As the study pointed out, patient satisfaction is the best way to determine the success of a cosmetic surgery. Many patients see a liposuction doctor to remove bulges and resilient fat that are impossible to eliminate with physical activity and strict diets.
