Florida Gators pays Urban Meyer top salary

Urban Meyer is best known for taking the Florida Gators to two national championships in four seasons.   He will now be compensated for his works.  The Gators have decided to grant him the highest salary for a SEC coach in 2009.  Meyer finalized this new six years, $24 million dollar contract, which will give Meyer $4 million a year on Monday.  This will make Meyer the SEC's highest-paid coach in 2009. This deal will run through the 2014 season.
