Wrestling star John Cena files for divorce in Florida

Wrestling star John Cena filed for divorce from his wife of three years today in a Florida court, according to celebrity gossip hounds TMZ.

Cena stated in his divorce filing that his marriage to Liz Huberdeau was “irretrievably broken.” Jon and Liz were high school sweethearts, but married just three years ago.

Although the couple signed a pre-nuptial agreement, Liz has hired a high-power Miami divorce attorney, Raymond Rafool, who represented Linda Hogan. Rafool was able to get a divorce settlement that entitled Linda Hogan to 70 percent of Hulk Hogan’s assets.

The pre-nuptial agreement that John had a divorce lawyer draw up has a clause that allows him the ability to take back any gifts and presents he has given Liz, but she isn’t going down without a fight.

In a statement, Rafool said, “Although it is indeed unfortunate that John Cena decided to divorce his high school sweetheart Liz Cena; particularly, after they have come so far in their lives and careers together, Liz will and has really no choice but to pursue all of her rights and entitlements.”

This divorce may get nasty, luckily, the couple don not have any kids, so they don’t have to worry about child custody or family law issues to deal with.

John Cena is worth an estimated $18 million so he will also need to retain a highly-skilled divorce attorney if he wants to hold onto his fortune.
