Shooting at L.A. Fitness Center in Pittsburgh Leaves Four Dead, Several Injured

A gunman entered an L.A. Fitness Center in suburban Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday night and opened fire on an aerobics class, killing at least four people and injuring several more. The gunman was believed to be among the dead.

 

According to witnesses the gunman walked into the Bridgeville L.A. Fitness Center, located near the Pittsburgh International Airport, shortly after 8:00 p.m. ET, entered a room where an aerobics class was being held, turned off the lights and began shooting.

 

UPMC Mercy Hospital and Allegheny General Hospital have treated at least eight women who suffered gunshot wounds in the attack.
