To honor Arizona mothers this Mother’s Day, Bungalow Bar and Grill is offering brunch menu items that will please moms and the whole family this Sunday, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“It’s a day that moms always look forward to, even if they downplay it,” said Trish Clark, manager of Bungalow Bar and Grill. “This Mother’s Day, we want to help make the day special for moms and the whole family with brunch dishes that everyone will love.”
The chefs at Bungalow Bar and Grill have create gourmet versions of America’s favorite breakfast traditions, including light and fluffy pancakes, served with fresh strawberries and your choice of rich maple syrup or delicious sugar-free maple syrup for $8.50.
“Our menu offers everything women want,” said Clark. “These dishes are big on taste and small on calories, so moms don’t have to feel bad for having a good time with their loved ones.”
The menu includes Build-Your-Own Omelets with egg whites instead of whole eggs and the choice of any two items, including, ham, turkey, chorizo, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, and roasted red peppers for $9. Each additional item is 50 cents. Or, mom can choose from the Mediterranean, an open-faced omelet with asparagus, zucchini, roasted red peppers, onions and black olives for $9.50 and Lox-n-Bagels with Alaskan Smoked Salmon served with onions, tomatoes, cream cheese and capers on a toasted bagel for just $10.
The menu also boasts $3 Mimosas, one part Champagne, one part sparkling wine and one part fruit juice, and Bellinis, a Venetian cocktail that’s a wonderful mixture of sparkling wine and peach purée.
For moms more in the mood for lunch, Bungalow Bar and Grill offers a sophisticated menu including Pear Salad, served with fresh cut pears, avocado, tomatoes, marinated, grilled chicken and pita bread, and a Seared Ahi Salad with Cajun seared Ahi tuna on a bed of mixed greens tossed with homemade balsamic dressing and topped with candied walnuts, dried cranberries, red onions and Feta cheese for $12.50 or other favorites such as Turkey wraps for $9.50 and Filet Mignon for $23.
“I can’t tell you our secrets, but I can say that you’ll taste the difference, and we’re sure you’ll love it,” said Clark
Menu favorites that will appeal to the men in the family include Hearty Homemade Biscuits-N-Gravy, for $8.50; Breakfast Burritos made with Chorizo sausage, potatoes, eggs, green onions, cilantro, cheddar cheese and topped with con queso and enchilada sauce for $8.50; or The Country Omelet, prepared with scrambled eggs, potatoes, onions, bacon and Swiss cheese for $9.
Lunch favorites include four sirloin sliders for $9; prime dip for $9.50; Bungalow’s Buffalo Chicken Sandwich served in buffalo sauce with lettuce, tomatoes and onions on a hoagie roll with bleu cheese dressing for $9.50; and pork chops and applesauce, two 8-ounce pork chops marinated and grilled, served with Bungalow’s smashed potatoes and homemade applesauce for just $19.50.
Bungalow Bar and Grill will open at 10 a.m. Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13 and serve brunch until 2 p.m.
