AllerMates® announced today the launch of its Fund Raising Program in support of May’s Allergy Awareness Month. Both national allergy organizations and local support groups can engage in the program that provides a significant portion of the sale of AllerMates products back to the organizations as donations. Any non-profit organization involved in the support of allergy issues can participate.
AllerMates produces a line of bright, colorful and kid friendly allergy alert products including allergy alert wristbands, dog tags and lunch bags. They are popular with parents of children with allergies who can now enjoy the safety and security of knowing their young ones are better protected against unwanted allergens when they wear or use AllerMates products away from home in places like school, daycare, parties, sleep-overs and summer camp.
“As a 14 month old, my son turned purple after biting into his first cashew. From that moment on, allergy awareness and protection became a central theme in my life.” Stated Iris Shamus, Founder and CEO of AllerMates. “I love that AllerMates can help foster research and awareness by supporting organizations across the spectrum,” continued Shamus. “This program means a lot to me”.
To participate organizations need only email help@allermates.com or call 866.245.1370. After a brief set up process a code is provided and any sales at AllerMates.com that reference that code will generate a donation of 35% of the sales value to that organization. Use of the code provides a 5% discount to customers. Groups need only present that code to their members via email alerts, website ads, at events or newsletters to start the monthly donation process. AllerMates personnel are available to work with groups on how to best make distribute their code.
AllerMates products are based on 14 fun, original characters that represent the most common allergies: peanut, nut, gluten/wheat, milk, egg, shellfish, penicillin, insect sting, latex, pollen, fish, soy, sesame and cat. The products are hypo-allergenic, nickel and latex free and have passed rigorous safety standards and testing. Wristbands are adjustable and fit most children.
AllerMates products can be purchased at www.allermates.com, at Amazon.com and at independent retailers throughout the U.S. as well as stores in Canada, United Kingdom, Portugal and South America. Fund Raising codes are only redeemable at AllerMates.com.
