Narconon Graduate Celebrates Eight Years Drug Free

As Pennsylvania continues to be a hotbed for heroin and prescription abuse, Narconon offers a real solution to addicts in the state.

Sarah Cline* struggled with addiction for many years. Starting out abusing marijuana and alcohol at a young age, she soon graduated to harder drugs by the age of 18. By the time Sarah was 20 she was heavily addicted to prescription pain medication and heroin. Desperate for a solution and in need of drug rehab, Sarah just wanted to find an answer to what she had been struggling with for many years.

“My family saw what I was doing to myself and tried to help find a solution,” she says.” After searching on the Internet, my dad found the Narconon program and I reluctantly decided to go. That program changed my life. I never touched a drug again after completing it and today have 8 years clean and sober.”

The Narconon program is a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that achieves a success rate of more than 70% for permanent sobriety with all hardcore addictions. The program has been successfully treating addicts for over four decades and has had more than 25,000 graduates since 1995.

Erica Catton, Director of Promotion at Narconon and a former Pennsylvania resident, has seen first had the devastation heroin and prescription drugs like OxyContin© have caused people in Pennsylvania like Sarah. “Over the last 10 years, more and more adolescences and young adults from Pennsylvania are getting hooked on these drugs than ever before. As a former resident of the state and a drug counselor I have seen the devastation this has caused for the addicts, the family members and the community in general. The good news is that Narconon drug rehab can and has achieved positive results treating addiction in this area and all over the world.”
