Cleveland Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards participated in his first practice of the team’s training camp on Monday after missing all of minicamp with an unspecified injury that had him on the non-football injury list.
Edwards was said to have suffered a leg injury but head coach Eric Mangini never spoke about the receiver’s condition. The 26-year-old had been limited to riding a stationary bike, agility drills and light running but on Wednesday he was cleared for practice.
Edwards is entering the final year of his contract after leading the Browns with 55 receptions and 873 yards last year.
