Man Who Stormed High School in Germany Killed
An 18-year-old former student at a German high school was found dead inside the same building he stormed earlier in the day.
Police have yet to release the cause of the man’s death but have confirmed that they had tried to negotiate with him before he died.
The man had entered the school in Emsdetten, Germany at approximately 9:30 am local time and began firing several shots, reports have indicated that eight people were injured in the attack, but the gunman was the lone fatality. A teacher at the school told police that the man had been a former student.
After the police entered the school they found the armed man dead. They called in a special unit to defuse bombs that had been found on the gunman’s body.
