EBay Inc.'s PayPal payment service suffered a service outage last Monday, and users were unable to transfer money from their account for roughly an hour.

According to a PayPal company blog, the service "started experiencing site issues that affected the ability to send and receive money," but was restored for "most users" by about 12:40 p.m. Pacific time.
