The Patchwork Pearl is offering an all-inclusive bus trip for quilters and those interested in quilting in the Southeast New Hampshire area, to the Vermont Quilt Festival (VQF).
On Saturday, June 30, 2012 passengers can catch the bus at the Exit 8 Park and Ride in Nashua, NH at 7am or at the Exit 14 Park and Ride in Concord, NH at 7:45am. The bus will arrive at the Festival around 10:30 in the morning and depart from the Festival at 4pm.
For $95 each, a ticket includes the bus trip to and from the VQF, the driver’s tip, admission to the festival, and a family style dinner.
In addition to relaxing and meeting up with other quilters, this year’s bus trip will include an on-board bus raffle to benefit The Winter Warmth Project, a grassroots initiative designed to provide quilts to those affected by Hurricane Irene last year. Riders are not required to participate, but those who choose to make a block and donate it to the cause will be entered to win one of several prizes. Registrants will receive detailed directions to participate.
