Although former Bachelor star Brad Womack won’t be tuning in to see his ex-fiance Emily Maynard on The Bachelorette, he says he hopes she finds happiness with one of her suitors.
“All I’ll say is she is helluva woman and I hope it works out. I’m happy. I hope she’s happy. Maybe we can do an interview after the finale and you can tell me what happens,” the Texas bar owner told ABC 13 in a recent interview.
Womack proposed to Maynard on the season finale of The Bachelor last year. They announced their split in People magazine in June with Womack saying “the demise of our relationship was completely my fault.” Maynard, who has a 6-year-old daughter with her late fiancé Ricky Hendrick, later told Bachelor host Chris Harrison that she “wanted to be married and have more children, but I doubted he was going to still want to be with me.” “I need that reassurance that he'd want to be with me six weeks down the road much less six years,” she said.
