Authorities in Thailand arrested a British citizen Friday after receiving a tip about a website selling human fetuses for black magic rituals. Police say 28-year-old Chow Hok Kuen, who is of Taiwanese origin, was taken into custody at a Bangkok hotel for being in possession of 6 roasted human fetuses covered with gold.
“The bodies are of children between the ages of two and seven months,” said police Colonel Wiwat Kumchumnan.
The fetuses were hidden inside Kuen’s luggage in his hotel room. He reportedly bought them for $6,500 and planned to smuggle them into Taiwan to sell them. "He said he planned to sell the fetuses to clients who believe they will make them lucky and rich," Kamchamnan added.
Kuen faces up to one year in prison. No other details were released.
