Young Ryan the Prince of Hoodfellaz

Known across Chi-Town as the “Prince of Hoodfellaz”

Rapper Young Ryan [Ryan Edwards], who was raised on the South Side of Chicago, to a strong mother who knew that raising boys into men as a single parent was no easy task. Edwards, while in the center of a concrete jungle faced with two options in life opted for greatness and education. Ryan graduated from Chicago’s Bogan High School, then turned around and enlisted in the military, where he continues to serve his country in the US Navy located in Charleston, South Carolina. 

Ryan Edwards whom adopted the stage name “Young Ryan”, which was affectionately given to him by his older brother Marcus Edwards [Marco], and CEO of Hoodfellaz Records; due to Ryan being the youngest member of one of the 1st Hip-Hop groups created by Marco.

While considered the Prince of Hoodfellaz. Ryan began rapping at the age of 15, laying his first track just a year later, for the Hip-Hop label Hoodfellaz. 

Young Ryan, a South Side of Chicago native has had his eye set out on taking over the Hip-Hop industry, one lyric at a time. With his game on point, breaking all the industry rules, Rapper Young Ryan has old ties within the Hip-Hop community, with his self-made rep on the streets, into what label executives are now referring to as the next “Tupac”. Known across Chi-Town as the “Prince of Hoodfellaz” for his aggressively laid back flow and controversial video “So Critical”, in which oral sex is simulated while he performs his song.

Young Ryan has more than just street cred, steaming from his older sibling’s roots not only in the streets but also from big brother Marcus Edwards [Marco} who has been referred to the next P Diddy being the CEO of his own record label “Hoodfellaz Records”.

Edwards along with his in-house crew is quickly headlining within the club circuit, along with a list of features lined up from today’s platinum selling Hip-Hop artists, Young Ryan’s new record is sure to be a smash hit amongst fans old and new alike.
