Amani Toomer signs with the Kansa City Chiefs
Thirteen year veteran Amani Toomer was recently invited by the Kansas City Chiefs for a workout. After the workout the Chiefs signed him to a one-year deal. “I definitely thought I was going to play, I kept working out like I was going to play,” said Toomer.
Amani Toomer spent 13 seasons with the New York Giants. The 34 year old is known for catching 668 passes for 9,497 yards and 54 touchdowns. Amani Toomer is used to playing for a team that consistently made it to the playoffs. Joining the Chiefs will be quite a difference seeing that they are in the middle of rebuilding after a rough season. We wish the Chiefs luck with the upcoming season.
