At least 12 people have died and more than 66 injured as a result of an explosion on a passenger train in India. The blast, feared to be set off by militants, occurred in West Bengal.
While no terrorist organization has claimed responsibility suspicion has fallen on separatist groups Kamtapur Liberation Organization (KLO) and United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA).
The death toll from the blast is expected to rise as several of the injured were admitted to Jalpaiguri Sadar hospital in critical condition.
The attack comes four months after a series of bombings on trains in Mumbai killed 186 people and injured another 700.
