Eli Manning gets a new Contract Extension
Eli Manning has recently agreed to a new contract extension with the New York Giants. This deal will make Manning among the highest paid players in the NFL. The deal will give manning $97.5 million with a six-year contract.
Eli Manning is known for his amazing skills on the field and being named MVP of the game in February of 2008. He started for the Giants in the middle of his rookie season, and has led them to the playoffs in four past seasons. Last season he passed for 3,238 yards and 21 touchdowns. Not to mention the 10 interceptions that led him to the Pro Bowl for the first time.
His career highlights include starting for the last 71 New York Giants games. This streak earned him the third-longest streak among active quarterbacks last season. He also became the first New York Giants quarterback to throw 3,000 yards and at least 20 touchdowns in four consecutive seasons.
