After Hours - Delta Air Lines Inc., DAL - Delta Air Lines Traffic for the Month of July Declines

Delta Air Lines Inc.

Delta Air Lines, the world's No. 1 airline recently release reports of its traffic results for July 2009.  System traffic of last month, which includes both its Delta and Northwest operations, has suffered a 2.5 percent decreased as compared to July 2008 on a 3.6 percent decrease in capacity, and load factor increased 1.0 point to 87.7 percent.

Airlines Domestic Traffic decreased 1.6 percent year over year on a 2.6 percent decrease in capacity. Domestic load factor increased 1.0 point to 88.6 percent. While the airlines international traffic also decreased 3.9 percent year over year on a 5.0 percent decrease in capacity, and load factor increased 1.0 point to 86.3 percent.
