Dancing with the Stars came to an end last night with judges scores combined with fan votes determining which of the final three couples would be awarded the mirror-ball trophy. The winners turned out to be pro-football player Donald Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd. Opera singer Katherine Jenkins and partner Mark Ballas took second place while actor William Levy and partner Cheryl Burke landed in third.
Driver said he felt “amazing” after his win and compared it to winning the Super Bowl in 2011 with the Green Bay Packers. "I think it's the same. You have great moments [throughout both experiences],” he told People magazine. “Right now I'm on cloud nine."
"I've been thinking about how I'm just going to thank [my wife] and my kids," he added. "[My wife] says she wants to go take a trip. So we're going to take a Disney cruise as a family."
