Former Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl debuted her new daughter Adalaide Wednesday during a lunch outing in Beverly Hills. The actress carried the newborn in a pink car seat. See a picture of Adalaide in the photo gallery below.
Heigl and husband Josh Kelley announced Adalaide’s adoption last month. “Her full name is Adalaide Marie Hope Kelley,” Heigl recently told HELLO! “Adalaide because of my great-grandmother, Marie after my middle name, and Hope because that is what the process became.”
Adalaide is the couple’s second daughter. They adopted Naleigh, 3, from South Korea in 2009. At the time, Heigl said she had always wanted to adopt from South Korea because that is where her adopted sister is from.
“My sister Meg is Korean and my parents adopted her three years before I was born,” she said in an interview. “I wanted my own family to resemble the one I came from, so I always knew I wanted to adopt from Korea. We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first.”
