Brooke White is officially a mom! The American Idol alum gave birth to daughter London on Thursday, her husband Dave Ray confirms. Baby London arrived at a Los Angeles hospital weighing a little over 8 lbs. She is the first child for the couple, who have been married for 8 years.
“Baby London is here. Our girl came in at 6:41 p.m. and is 8 lbs, 12 oz!” Ray tells People magazine.
London is named for Ray’s family, who are all from the city.
White, 28, announced her pregnancy in January and wrote about the experience several times on her blog, Brookie Babble. Up next for the Idol finalist is the release of Undercover, her latest Jack and White EP with music partner Jack Matranga. The music will hit iTunes on May 29.
