Creepersin Films starts shooting their psychological horror thriller, Creep Creepersin’s Dracula this week. Dracula stars Peter Stickles (The Lair) in the title role as the Count who is held captive in his manor by his servants. Other great genre names round out the cast with Domiziano Arcangeli (Virus X), Elina Madison (Huff), Elissa Dowling (Bloody Bloody Bible Camp), Bruce Hart (Homewrecker) and Dawna Lee Heisinig (Scare Tactics). Writer / Director Creep Creepersin says about his “re-telling” of the classic Stoker tale, “It’s not the Dracula that you all know, it’s the Dracula of today that is made who he is by our society and our pop culture media blitz and how we view him and how he has to deal with that. It’s very much in the vein of my Frankenstein film but in this, the source material is much more important to the story.”
This is the third film to be shot in June 2012 for the Slate of Awesome. which is writer / director Creep Creepersin’s blitzkrieg filmmaking manifesto which boasts it will be making 10-12 films this year alone. Creepersin already shot his Japanese inspired action film, Awesome Girl Gang Street Fighter (starring Natalie Pero, Chandler Maness, Tara Alexis and Jonathan Camp), and the campy Sci-Fi horror Alien Babes in Heat (starring Mia Hope, Elissa Dowling and Ron Jeremy) earlier this month.
“Dracula will be one of my best films. It’s by far one of the best scripts I’ve ever written”, says Creepersin. The other films in this half of the Slate of Awesome are the slasher spoof Fork You, Gritty, a super exploitive horror, and Paranormal Ghost Hunters: Bam the Ghost, which is a horror comedy. These three are to be in the can before July 2012. Other titles in this year’s slate are Red Machete Blue: Final Girl Part 2, Ancient Alien Exorcism, Murderous Assholes, Avengers of Death and The Adulterers. Creep Creepersin’s Dracula, Awesome Girl Gang Street Fighter, Gritty, PGH: Bam the Ghost and Fork You are scheduled for release in January 2013.
