Proud new mom Jessica Simpson is showing off daughter Maxwell in the new issue of People magazine. Simpson and baby Maxwell appear on the cover of the issue and inside the singer opens up about how her life with fiancé Eric Johnson has “completely changed” since their daughter’s arrival.
"From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything," Simpson says. "We stare at her all the time. We can't get enough!"
Although breastfeeding is a “full-on job,” Simpson tells People she enjoys every minute of it. "It's the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her," she adds. “I miss holding her and having that closeness."
Maxwell was born May 1 weighing 9 lbs., 13 oz. She is the first child for Simpson and Johnson, who plan to tie the knot by the end of the year. See the People cover featuring Simpson and Maxwell in the photo gallery below.
