Pink checked into a hospital Thursday for a bad case of the stomach flu. The singer Tweeted an Instagram picture of herself in a hospital bed and said she is now a “happy girl” thanks to a dose of morphine.
"Maybe it's cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life- but throw me in a gown and a hook me up to an IV- and I'm a happy girl. Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesn’t," she wrote.
Pink was not the only star to be hospitalized Thursday. Talk show host and comedian Chelsea Handler underwent knee surgery and Tweeted a photo of herself after the operation. "This is me post-surgery. Fortune Feimster will be filling in as the host on tonight's show with more photos of me and my knee making a quick recovery. Pls support her,” she wrote.
