Act of Valor: starring Roselyn Sanchez, Alex Veadov, Nestor Serrano, Jason Cottle, Emilio Rivera and Gonzalo Menendez. The action film, which stars active-duty Navy SEALs, follows an elite team of Navy SEALs as they go on a covert mission to rescue a kidnapped CIA agent. Rated R
Journey 2 – The Mysterious Island: starring Dwayne Johnson, Josh Hutcherson, Vanessa Hudgens, Michael Caine and Luis Guzman. The family adventure film follows Sean Anderson as he teams up with his stepfather, a pilot, and the pilot’s daughter to find a mysterious island where his grandfather is trapped. Rated PG
13 Assassins: starring Koji Yakusho, Takayuki Yamada, Yusuke Iseya, Goro Inagaki and Masachika Ichimura. The action film follows a group of Japanese samurai as they fight a ruthless lord who plans to take over the country. Rated R
Bad Ass: starring Danny Trejo, Ron Perlman, Charles S. Dutton and Joyful Drake. The action film centers on a decorated Vietnam veteran who decides to take the law into his own hands after police show little interest in the murder of his best friend. Rated R
Hit So Hard: starring Patty Schemel, Courtney Love Cobain, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Eric Erlandson and Kurt Cobain. The documentary explores Patty Schemel’s struggle with drug and alcohol addiction during her time as a drummer with the alternative rock band Hole. Not Rated
How To Live Forever: starring Suzanne Somers, Phyllis Diller, Ray Bradbury, Jack LaLanne and Raymond Kurzweil. The documentary follows Mark Wexler as he sets out on a worldwide journey to discover the key to living a long life. He seeks advice from people who have made it into their older years. Mark also explores what it would mean to live forever. Not Rated
Machine Gun Preacher: starring Gerard Butler, Michelle Monaghan, Kathy Baker, Michael Shannon and Ryan Campos. The action drama is based on the true story of Sam Childers, an ex criminal who dedicated his life to rescuing Sudanese children from being forced to become soldiers and sex slaves for the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). Rated R
Seven Days In Utopia: starring Robert Duvall, Lucas Black, Madison Burge, Robert Bear, Brady Coleman and Kim de Patri. The drama centers on a young golfer who is determined to make the pro tour. When Luke fails miserably, he flees the game and becomes stranded in Utopia, Texas where he meets an eccentric rancher who helps him look at life differently. Rated G
Under African Skies: starring Paul Simon, Maya Angelou, Okeyerama Asante, Harry Belafonte and David Byrne. The documentary follows musician Paul Simon has he returns to Africa to revisit the recording of his highly successful 1986 album Graceland. Because Graceland was recorded in South Africa and featured local musicians, Simon was accused of breaking the cultural boycott of the country that was meant to help end the Apartheid regime. The Yankles: starring Brian Wimmer, Bart Johnson, Don Most, Susanne Sutchy and Kenneth Brown. The comedy centers on a former baseball player whose second chance at life comes in the form of coaching an orthodox yeshiva baseball team. Rated PG 13
