MOVIE COLUMNIST WINS ROLE IN NEW SUSPENSE FILM

Go Nuts Films and Dreyluca Productions has today announced that Stanley Goodrich, writer of a column on the “The Golden Age of Hollywood,” for the tabloid, “Palm Springs LIVE,” has been asked to play the role of a scientist in the new suspenseful action/thriller, “Shadow of the Monarch.”  Goodrich is also an Associate Producer in charge of Publicity for the film, co-directed by John Luksetich and Randy Kent.  Jewels Lubin is the Executive Producer of the action thriller.  Goodrich said he has accepted the challenge.  “I’ve done some acting, playing an FBI agent in a Web series, and I’ve also co-hosted segments of ‘Eye on Entertainment,’ a nationally broadcast television show.  But,” he says, “I’ve never had the opportunity to play a part in a major motion picture.”  Goodrich, who received his BA in Psychology and MBA in Marketing from UC Berkeley, hopes that he can apply his knowledge of Psychology to his role in “Shadow” and also his Marketing expertise to his PR responsibilities for the film. “Shadow is a major production, based on actual research on various attempts at mind control.  It’s both a suspenseful action/thriller, but also a warning against what may be future attempts to subject populations to persuasive mind control techniques.”  Goodrich, who is also PR manager for a well-known software company, gives credit to a former co-worker, Dawna Lee Heising, for seeing his potential to be in front of a camera.  “Dawna has done numerous film roles and has won numerous beauty titles.  I’m pleased she saw something in me indicated that perhaps my PR talents might extend to acting,” he said.
