Pink is finally on the mend after being hospitalized last week for what was initially believed to be a bad case of the flu. It turns out the singer was actually suffering from gallbladder problems. She underwent surgery this week to have her gallbladder removed and is currently recovering at home.
"Pink had her gallbladder removed and is out of the hospital recovering nicely,” Pink’s rep said in a statement.
Pink, 32, Tweeted goodbye to her gallbladder on Sunday. “oh and p.s..... F YOU gall bladder! SAYONARA!!!!!!!!!!!!" she wrote.
Pink’s hospitalization caused her to miss daughter Willow Sage’s first birthday on Saturday and a performance at a fundraiser for President Barack Obama on Wednesday. “So now I've let down my daughter and the President. wow. great week,” Pink Tweeted. “However, Willow just got a Gucci dress and a custom rocking chair for her birthday, plus some Toms, so it ain't all bad. lucky little girl.”
