A Pennsylvania man, Kwame Picou, wreaked havoc on Route 1 Monday causing multiple accidents and sent a truck careening into a house.
Police say that Picou, who was driving a Chrysler, caused three accidents in rapid succession. The first accident happened while Picou was weaving in and out of traffic when he clipped the rear of a truck that crossed a median and went flying into a nearby home. Fortunately, no one was at home when the truck barreled through and knocked it three feet off of its foundation.
The truck that struck the house hit a Jeep in the north bound lanes. The Jeep driver backed up his vehicle to see the accident when he hit a guardrail and flipped over several times.
Picou then hit another truck just 200 yards down the road and became wedged underneath.
Surprisingly, no one was killed or seriously injured, although two people will had minor injuries.
Picou was charged with reckless driving and though they aren’t serious charges, he will most likely be hit with numerous lawsuits from accident lawyers representing the multiple accident victims.
The people involved in this collision were very lucky, but there are numerous accidents were the victims are killed or suffer from severe injuries. These personal injury victims have the right to hire a Pennsylvania accident lawyer and ask the negligent driver to pay for their carelessness.
Property replacement and medical care costs can be exorbitant, and traffic collision victims shouldn’t have to cover these expenses out of their own wallets. The primary objective of a Pennsylvania accident attorney is to make sure the people they represent receive maximum compensation for troubles.
