Teen Mom’s Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are not set to become parents again. Lowell, who gave her first child with Baltierra up for adoption three years ago, says In Touch magazine’s report about a second pregnancy is not true.
"Don't believe everything you read, I'm definitely not pregnant!” Lowell tells Us Weekly magazine.
Lowell says she is currently using birth control pills and has no plans to get pregnant anytime soon. “I'm only 20--I don't want to have kids until I'm out of school and we're married,” she adds.
In Touch magazine claimed Lowell’s alleged pregnancy was confirmed by her close friend Jamie Pyrzewski. “She said, ‘You’re never going to believe it: I’m pregnant,’” Pyrzewski told In Touch. “We were both quiet. I asked how she felt about it. She said she was nervous and scared.”
“This time, she knew immediately that she wanted to keep the baby,” a family source added. “She’s just so happy.”
Lowell’s first pregnancy with daughter Carly was chronicled on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. Her relationship with Baltierra and their struggle with Carly’s adoption have been featured on Teen Mom. Baltierra and Lowell have been engaged since August 2010. Last December, Lowell revealed they will tie the knot on July 15, 2013.
Baltierra and Lowell can be seen on the fourth and final season of Teen Mom. New episodes air on MTV Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST.
