Emily Maynard is furious former Bachelorette suitor Kalon McMahon will star on the upcoming season of Bachelor Pad. After ABC revealed the season 3 cast on Thursday, Maynard slammed McMahon on Twitter.
"The fact Kalon will ever be on any TV [show] again makes me want to stab my eyeballs out with dull pencils. Too much?" Maynard wrote.
Maynard’s animosity towards the luxury brand consultant is not surprising as he was at the center of at least three eyebrow raising incidents during his time on The Bachelorette. The first incident occurred during one-on-one time with Maynard early in the season. Kalon told her to stop talking so he could continue talking. The next two incidents occurred on this week’s episode. First, Kalon shooed her away from his Romeo rehearsal during the group date. The guys later informed Maynard that Kalon called her 6-year-old daughter Ricki “baggage.”
"For anyone to say (my daughter) is baggage does not deserve to be on any date with me. ... She's the furthest thing from baggage. It makes me sad for you, not for me,” Maynard told Kalon.
When Kalon started to interrupt her, Maynard cut him off and snapped, "Let me talk. I love to hear you talk, but not until I'm done. I got that line from you...”
She then told him to “get the f—k out.”
