Lindsay Lohan was evaluated by paramedics Friday morning after she was found unconscious in her room at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Marina Del Ray, the Los Angeles County Fire Department has confirmed. The actress was not taken to a hospital as previously reported.
"We received a call at 10:15 this morning at 4375 Admiralty Way in Marina Del Rey," says a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman. "We received a call about an unconscious person possibly in their 20s. The person was evaluated at the scene and not transported at the hospital."
Lohan’s rep Steve Honig says the actress was suffering from exhaustion and dehydration because she filmed scenes for the Elizabeth Taylor biopic Liz & Dick all night. "Lindsay worked a grueling schedule the past few days. She was on set last night at 7 pm and worked through the night until 8 am this morning. She took a nap before shooting her scene," Honig said. "Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution."
“She is resting now, and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon,” he added.
Lohan, who has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, was reportedly treated at a Los Angeles hospital last week after hitting a semi truck in her Porsche on Pacific Coast Highway. The car sustained severe damage including a shattered window and a crushed bumper.
The 25-year-old was taken off probation in her 2007 DUI arrests just two months ago because she fulfilled all of her probation requirements. Lohan will remain on informal probation in her 2011 necklace theft case until May 24, 2014. If Lohan breaks any laws before that date, she could face up to 245 days in jail.
