Boston Scientific Corporation., BSX - Boston Scientific Adopts Shoe Cover Dispensing

Employees at Boston Scientific’s Valencia, California neuromodulation division will no longer need to struggle and contort themselves to put on disposable shoe covers. The company has begun using dispensers that automatically put plastic booties over one’s shoes—a product developed by Shoe Inn, a division of Complete Business Systems International, Inc.

Using automatic shoe cover dispensers is definitely more than just a novelty and a convenience. The most important reason behind the decision to use these automatic bootie dispensers and specialized booties is the reduction in potential worker’s comp claims from falls while trying to put conventional booties on and while wearing booties without significant traction on smooth floors. The dispensers can also save employees time otherwise wasted trying to put on the covers. The Shoe Inn Stay dispenser and non-slip waterproof Super Reboot covers are designed for an ISO Class 7 clean room and are fresh from a clean room trial.
